Objectives

The main objective of the Agriculture Business Promotion Support and Training Center is to contribute to the transfer of agricultural technology by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and efficiency of agricultural technicians and lead farmers through training. Sectoral Objectives To work as an implementing unit of the provincial government in the field of training and capacity development. To prepare and regularly update the roster of provincial-level agricultural entrepreneurs and businesspersons. To identify training needs and conduct training programs accordingly, in order to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for operating agricultural enterprises and businesses. To conduct studies on training needs, effectiveness, and follow-up. To organize skill-oriented, residential, and practical training programs in farm centers based on feasibility. To assist in identifying the necessary infrastructure and facilities required for agricultural entrepreneurs and businesspersons to operate their enterprises, and to support the implementation of required programs. To provide support in preparing business plans essential for the operation of enterprises by agricultural entrepreneurs and businesspersons. To coordinate with concerned agencies to ensure access to necessary services and facilities for agricultural entrepreneurs and businesspersons. To provide basic information required for the operation of various agricultural enterprises and businesses. To facilitate young farmers interested in agriculture enterprises and businesses in operating and managing their ventures. To arrange for the operation of training programs related to agricultural enterprise operation and promotion, as per demand from other organizations, by charging prescribed fees. To develop the premises of the Agriculture Business Promotion Support and Training Center as a modern agricultural technology demonstration site, thereby transforming the center into a technology learning hub. To organize capacity-building and professional development training for agricultural technicians working at the local and provincial levels, and to conduct capacity-building training for agricultural technicians of associations and organizations active in the agricultural sector, based on their demand. Specific Objectives To help enhance the knowledge, skills, efficiency, and effectiveness of mid-level agricultural technicians (JT/JTA) working at the local level, while also fostering a positive attitude, thereby preparing competent and committed agricultural technical manpower. To provide practical and theoretical knowledge and skills about advanced agricultural technologies to lead farmers, motivating them toward improved farming, creating income and employment opportunities, and improving living standards. To transform subsistence-oriented farming systems into modern, commercial, and competitive agricultural systems.

Goals

To enhance the productivity of the agricultural sector and improve the quality of agricultural products through the use of modern and advanced agricultural technologies, thereby developing high-return agricultural enterprises by building the necessary skills and capacities. To create an environment that ensures the proper utilization and integration of available resources, capital, human resources, and entrepreneurship within the province, thereby promoting overall social and economic development of the province through the advancement of agricultural enterprises.
