Bakular Ratnanagar Hospital is located in Ward No. 2 of Ratnanagar Municipality, Chitwan District, Bagmati Province, Nepal. It is situated about 500 meters north of Tandi Bazaar from the East-West Highway.

Initially established by the Government of Nepal in 1967 AD (B.S. 2024) as Bakular Health Post, it was later upgraded to a 15-bed district hospital in 2008 AD (B.S. 2065). With the implementation of federalism, the Government of Nepal, through its decision on December 3, 2020 (B.S. 2077/08/18), brought this hospital under Bagmati Province. Subsequently, another decision on February 25, 2021 (B.S. 2077/11/13) upgraded the hospital's capacity from 15 to 50 beds. Later, in 2023 AD (B.S. 2080), the hospital was further upgraded to a 100-bed facility.

Bakular Ratnanagar Hospital is the only district hospital under the provincial government in eastern Chitwan. Located about 11 kilometers from Bharatpur, it provides essential healthcare services to the residents of Ratnanagar Municipality as well as other local bodies in eastern Chitwan.
