Bhairabi Rural Municipality was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The Headquater of the Bhairabi Rural Municipality is located in BhairiKalikathum, Dailekh district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Bhairabi Gaunpalika is surrounded by Chhamghat River on the East, Bhairabi Gadjiula River on the West, Kalikot district on the North and Dullu Municipalitiy on the South.The total area of the Bhairabi Rural Municipality is 110.46 square kilometers (42.65 sq mi) and The density of this municipality is 190/km2 (500/sq mi). This rural municipality is divided into 7 wards.

दैलेख जिल्ला भैरवी गाउँपालिका पूर्व छामघाट खोला, पश्चिम भैरवी गडजिउला खोला, उत्तर कालीकोट जिल्ला तथा दक्षिण दुल्लू नगरपालिकाभित्र रहेको रमणीय हरियाली वातावरण भएको गाउँपालिका हो । हिमाल, पहाड र तराईको जस्तो हावापानी, खेतीपाती (पशुपालन ब्यावसाय भएको अनेकताबीच एकता भएको गाउँपालिका हो । कृषि, पशुपालन, पर्यटन, ब्यापार एबं साना घरेलु ब्याबसायको प्रचुर संभावना रहेको गाउँपालिका हो । सिलेट ढुंगा, जल, जमिन, जंगल, जडिबुटी समेतको संभावना पनि रहेको छ ।
