WELCOME TO BUTWAL CHAMBER of COMMERCE & INDUSTRY
Butwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BuCCI), a pioneer business Member organization in Nepal. It was established in 1953 AD (2010 B.S) by a name Butwal Byapar Sangh. Later, Butwal Byapar Sangh was renamed to current Butwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BuCCI) with wider objective and goal. It is an autonomous, non-profit making and non-governmental organization. Its' main objective is to render assistance in safeguarding professional rights of private business entrepreneur there after enhancing Trade, Industry, and socio-economic development of its territory.
As required by its mandate and the set objectives, BuCCI has imparted many commendable roles in the local economic development, expansion and diversification of trade, bringing about big industries, establishments of higher educational Institutions and Hospitals and other infrastructure developments in Butwal since its inception. Now, it has incorporated the commercialization of agriculture and tourism promotion within its scope of work.
BuCCI is one of the founder members of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) the apex body of the private sector in Nepal.
Organize at least one Industrial or Specialized Trade Fair each year for the business promotion and local economic development.
Conduct members satisfaction survey each year so as to improve business services as per members demand.
Increase the members at least by 5% each year.
Conduct at least one training to secretariat staff to upgrade capacity and increase efficiency.
Organize at least three training/workshops for the capacity development of members and entrepreneurs.
Organize at least one study tour of members and executive board to enhance the business capacity and leadership development.
Organize a chamber management workshop in each year to capacitate the executive board and mobilize the chamber activities effectively.
