Caspian Valley College is a prestigious educational institution in Nepal that was established in 1998. Located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, it is a privately owned academic institution that offers +2 level education under NEB in science, management, and humanities, as well as BBS/MBS under Tribhuvan University (TU). The college's programs are designed to develop global competitors and help students compete nationally and internationally.

The admission procedure at Caspian Valley College is straightforward. Any student who has passed SEE or equivalent exams (ICSE, CBSE) can apply for registration. The minimum requirements for admission are a GPA of 3.5 with Optional Mathematics and minimum grade points of C+ in all subjects for the Science stream and a minimum GPA of 2.4 and a minimum grade point of C in all subjects for the Management & Humanities stream. An entrance exam is conducted for pre-registration, and scholarships are available for the most eligible students.

 

Caspian Valley College offers excellent facilities, including a library with internet access, a well-equipped first aid room, and a separate counseling room for students who need it. The college also has a student council that organizes various sports and cultural activities and arranges domestic and international excursions for academic purposes. Students can play games like basketball, table tennis, and other games within the college premises, and those who take part in sports tournaments are provided with special incentives like a waiver of attendance records or financial encouragement.

 

The college has strict leave rules. Usually, no leave is granted during regular class time, and leave should not be asked for except under exceptional circumstances. Leave for religious functions and marriages should be avoided as far as possible. When necessary, home leave for two days, exclusive of journey time, may be granted in the case of marriage of first relatives, accompanied by the printed invitation card. If a student remains absent without information for one week or more after a particular vacation or expiry of home leave, his/her name will be struck off the register.
