Chhyangdi Hydropower Private Limited was incorporated as a private limited on 2064/05/16 BS  and later converted into the public’s company as Chhyangdi Hydropower Limited on 2071/03/30. The main objective of the company is optimum use of water to generate hydropower electricity which ultimately fulfills the demand of electricity of the country optimum use of water resources to generate the hydro energy is the main objective.

To be the responsible hydro power company amongst the Nepalese IPPs.

Our Objectives:

1. To explore and survey; Extended engineering design and comprehensive study of transmission lines and the environment for the development and promotion of electricity.

2. To maximize the sales of generated electricity through the development of small and medium sized hydro projects.

3. To construct the necessary transmission and distribution lines for the distribution of the produced electrical energy.

4. To export/import electricity or adopting lease process as per requirement.

5. To help make the necessary infrastructural development for the production of different capacities of electricity within Nepal.

6. To invest for electricity production in Nepal.

7. To manage foreign technologies and human resources.

8. To purchase or lease of electricity produced by NEA or private sectors to the community electrification.

9. To conduct detailed research and study of Nepalese rivers and falls.

10. To collaborate between companies with similar objectives.
