This campus, which was formally established in the year 2059 B.S. (2002 A.D.), initially began its teaching and learning activities by using Vijaya Secondary School as its base and started with the Faculty of Education at the bachelor's level. Currently, this campus runs bachelor’s programs under the Faculty of Management and up to the master’s level under the Faculty of Education. The campus is located in BahunGaun, Ward No. 7 of Dullu Municipality in Dailekh District. The Dullu area is recognized as the winter capital of the ancient Sinja Kingdom and was one of the strong states among the Baisi-Chaubisi kingdoms.
This region has earned a distinct identity due to its academic, social, cultural, religious, touristic, and historical significance. The Panchkoshi pilgrimage site in this area has become a growing center of attraction and research due to the ever-burning eternal flame (Jwala). Educationally, this area is considered equally important. Several sages and saints are believed to have meditated in this sacred land. The oldest inscription in the Nepali language is also found here. Alongside the inscription, many cultural and archaeological heritages such as monasteries, temples, shrines, rest houses, stone spouts, hero pillars, forts, and sacred sites exist here. Therefore, this region is regarded as the origin place of education, culture, civilization, and language.
