Eastern Hydropower Ltd was established in 2005 under the Company Ordinance 2005 as a Private Limited Company by Hydropower Developers. The company was converted from Private Limited to Public Limited in August 2017 according to the Pursuant to Sub Section (1) of Section 13 of the Companies Act 2006. The project has been completed and its full generation was started on 27 Jestha 2076.
