Good Neighbour Service Association – Nepal (GONESA) is Kaski based NGO since September 1989.  It is registered in Kaski District Administration Office and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. During the two decades, it has focused to enhance quality education and health care facilities among poor children of the most disadvantage community.  It is also emphasizing Climate Change Adaptation, livelihood and various activities to reduce poverty, create awareness and establish dignity of people considering investment in people is more effective than infrastructures. Gender and social inclusion, right based approach, learning and sharing and work together with multistakehoders to attain sustainable development are the major learning of the past twenty years.

To develop a healthy society, which guarantees basic human rights to all sectors of society, regardless of gender, caste, religious or political affiliation.

Goal

To assist the national development by raising awareness and providing services on education, health, livelihood enhancement and capacity development to the socially and economically marginalized groups including children and women.

Objectives

• To provide quality education and basic health services to utterly poor children
• To empower women and marginalized communities through social mobilization, micro-credit and various capacity and livelihood development activities.
• To create awareness about environment & sustainable development.
