By mobilizing and utilizing the scattered local labor, skills, capital and technology, and by establishing mutual unity among the members, and by embracing the core idea of ​​economic, social and cultural transformation of the members and the community through cooperation, “Himchuli Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Ltd.” was initially established on Falgun 15, 2049 BS with the efforts of 30 share members. On 2050/09/29, it was registered at the Division Cooperative Office Damauli and is now operating in Gorkha Municipality Ward No. 7, Nayabazar, Gorkha. The 30 share members who started this organization, which was started under the chairmanship of the late Shambhubabu Marhatta, have been accepted as the founders of the organization.

Since the establishment of the organization, it is clear to us that it has been operating in policies, methods and technology by adopting the values, beliefs, ideals and principles of the cooperative. The organization has been operating dynamically amidst various ups and downs and has also completed its silver jubilee in a grand manner on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its establishment as a symbol of success. By strengthening and developing this organization sustainably, establishing the organization in a dignified and well-governed manner, and achieving credibility in the field of SACOS, the organization has been included in the probation program to obtain the authentic brand of quality assurance run by NEPSCUNE.
