Madhyabindu Multiple Campus (MMC), established in 2063 B.S. (2006), is a leading community campus affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). Strategically located at the center of the nation along the East-West Highway, MMC was founded to address the educational needs of the local community and contribute to national development by producing skilled, ethical, and competent human resources. Today, MMC stands as the first choice for many students.

Within a short period, the campus achieved the prestigious Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) certification from the University Grants Commission (UGC), thanks to the collective effort of its faculty, staff, students, guardians, and stakeholders. Among approximately 1,200 community campuses in Nepal, MMC secured the 22nd position in the Higher Education Reform Project (HERP) ranking by UGC.

The campus offers academic programs from Grade XI to Master’s level in multiple disciplines and operates classes in different shifts—from early morning to evening. Our students consistently achieve excellent results at both bachelor’s and master’s levels.

MMC is a non-profit, community-based public campus accredited by UGC Nepal. It is located 35 km west of Narayanghat along the East-West Mahendra Highway. The campus operates under a democratic governance system with a Campus Senate as its supreme legislative body. The Senate includes representatives from various sectors such as education, politics, business, and social services.

The Campus Management Committee (CMC), formed by the Senate, oversees the implementation of policies, rules, and regulations. It appoints key officials, including the Campus Chief, Assistant Campus Chiefs, Faculty Heads, and Program Coordinators. Roles and responsibilities of teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff are clearly defined by campus legislation.

To ensure effective governance, MMC has established various committees, including the Academic Cell, Publication Cell, Quality Monitoring Committee, Library Advisory Committee, Discipline Committee, Research Committee, Internal Audit Unit, and Health Unit. Additionally, organizations such as the Teachers’ Union, Students’ Union, Alumni Association, Youth Red Cross, and Literary Forum actively support campus development.

The campus operates under its own constitution and bylaws, which regulate academic, administrative, and financial activities. All policies are formulated, reviewed, and updated in compliance with the campus legislation.
