Located in the central part of Nepal, in Ward No. 7 of Madhyabindu Municipality, Nawalparasi District (Bardaghat Susta East), Gandaki Province, Chormara Bazaar is about 300 meters south of the East-West Highway. Previously known as Tamsiya, Prasauni, Deurali, Mainaghat, Hupsekot, Naya Belahani, Dumkibas, Benimanipur, Dhurkot, Narayani, Kolhuwa, Kumarwarti, Kawasoti, and Raka Chuli Village Development Committees, this facility has been providing healthcare services to the residents of these areas since the month of Bhadra in the year 2052 (B.S.). Following the changes in the political system, on 2080-03-25 B.S. (by Nepali calendar), the Madhyabindu Municipality Executive Committee decided to upgrade the Primary Health Center to the Madhyabindu Municipal Hospital. The hospital has been offering its healthcare services since the month of Shrawan in the year 2080 (B.S.).

 

This currently provides internal, external, emergency, and preventive health services to the residents of all 15 wards of Mid-Bindhu Municipality, as well as to parts of Kawasoti, Hupsikot, Nisi, and Binayi Triveni Rural Municipalities. Currently, there are approximately 150,000 people within the service area of this hospital.
