Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center (MCVTC), under T.U. Institute of Medicine (IOM), was established on 13th Baishakh 2066. It is designated as a center of excellence in the fields of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular treatment. The Principle objectives of MCVTC are:

• To provide the best specialized care to the patients with Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular diseases.
• To provide highly skilled human resource in the aforementioned fields and
• To carryout continuous research to contribute in the advancement of these services.

MCVTC, led by a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated medical professionals, is well supported by fully devoted paramedical and non-medical staff. Center has also been trying its level best to keep in pace with recent advances in patient care.

Despite lack of sufficient manpower in fields of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular treatment in Nepal, this Center aims to produce highly skilled doctors in these fields. Beside the excellent patient care service, the Center is also running post graduate super-speciality programme in Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery as DM (Doctorate of Medicine) and Mch (Master of Chirugie) respectively to meet its objectives. This Center is located in the premises of TUTH which has been a leading healthcare institution in the country for more than two decades, having 26 highly specialized units in various medical fields. Close relationship of this Center with TUTH ensure holistic approach to patients having problem related with multiple specialities.
