Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (MMKJL) was established on 30 Shrawan 2069 (14 August 2012), in accordance with the Company Act of Nepal. The company has developed and is currently operating 14.3 MW Mathillo Mailung Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana. Additionally, the company is in process of developing two other projects: 17 MW Mathillo Mailung ‘B’ Jalvidhyut Aayojana and 13 MW Madhya Mailung Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana

Mission and Vision

Being the successful private sector hydropower development organization in Nepal, Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited have aimed to develop three hydropower Projects in Bagmati province Rasuwa district. They are as follows:

1. Mathillo Mailung Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana (14.3 MW) which is  currently operating.

2. Mathillo Mailung ‘B’ Jalvidhyut Aayojana (17 MW) obtained the generation license from the Department of Electricity Development, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal on June 2023.

3. Madhya Mailung Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana (13 MW) obtained the generation license from the Department of Electricity Development, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal on November 2022.
