With the implementation of federalism, after the formation of the provincial government in 2074 BS, the backbone of the overall economic resources within the province and the provision of daily consumer goods to consumers and providing services, regulating and developing industry and business and providing quality services to consumers in an accessible manner, uplifting and developing the overall business and developing this province, which has abundant tourism potential, as a major tourist destination of the country by attracting tourists is the main goal of the provincial government. According to the notification in the provincial gazette dated 2081.05.16 of the Gandaki Provincial Government, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism has been established and its work has begun. Under this, work has been carried out at the provincial level by the Directorate of Tourism, Industry, Commerce, and Consumer Interest Protection and 11 subordinate tourism and industry offices. In cases where provincial laws have not been made, work has been carried out in accordance with the federal law and in cases where provincial laws have been made, work has been carried out in accordance with the same.
