Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (The Company) is a Limited Company incorporated in Nepal under the Companies Act, 2053 having its registered office at Dillibazar, Kathmandu. Initially it was established as Private Limited Company in the year 2064 having its registered office at Baluwatar, Kathmandu, Nepal. It was later converted into Public Limited on the 03.05.2071 (19.08.2014) pursuant to sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Companies Act, 2063.

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) is the company whose main objective is to develop Hydropower Projects. MEN had developed 5 MW Tadi Khola Hydroelectric Project located in Nuwakot district which is presently under operation and presently constructing 42 MW capacity Mistri Khola Hydroelectric Project located in Myagdi District of Nepal, with initial cost budget of NPR 5,642.63 million (including IDC) and has Required Commercial Operation Date (RCOD) of December 31, 2019.
