The National Cyber Security Policy of 2080 outlines Strategy 2, "Building and strengthening security institutional structures of information and information and communication technology systems." This strategy emphasizes the need for a robust cyber security infrastructure. As part of this strategy, the National Cyber Security Center was established by the Council of Ministers on 23 January , 2024 (2080/10/09). This government organization fulfills the objectives outlined in Workout Plan 11.21 of the policy. Specifically, the National Cyber Security Center serves as a 24/7 contact point for various cyber security needs, including research and development, promotion, preparation, prevention, identification, response, and recovery. Additionally, it conducts digital forensic investigations and acts as a regulatory body for other cyber security-related agencies.
