Nepal Association of the Blind (NAB) is a non-governmental, non-profit national organization established in 1993 to advocate for the rights and interests of blind and partially sighted (BPS) individuals in Nepal. NAB is led by a 17-member Central Executive Board, including six blind women, elected every three years through its General Assembly. The organization operates through seven Provincial Committees, 59 district branches, and 53 municipal branches, with a membership of over 4,000 individuals across the country. NAB is affiliated with the World Blind Union (WBU), Asian Blind Union (ABU), the National Federation of Disabled Nepal, and the Social Welfare Council. Its primary mission is to promote and protect the rights of BPS individuals through lobbying, advocacy, and various initiatives.

Empowering the Blind and Partially Sighted (BPS) persons through advocacy, capacity building and practical work so that their rights will be fulfilled and living conditions are improved.
