Nepal Health Care Co-operative Limited (NEHCO) was established to contribute the nation in health sectors by establishing hospital to provide health services to the people of marginalized group and to start health science academic programs to uplift the academic standard in the field of education.

After continuous and serious exercise, NEHCO-Nepal established a hospital by the name of Former Prime Minister late Manmohan Adhikari, a great patriot and renowned leader whose whole life was dedicated to uplift the people and the nation.

This has brought great inspiration and enthusiasm in whole health sector.

To launch health services with such a noble mission the co-operative concept was decided to be adopted.

Objectives

Nepal Health Care Co-operative Limited (NEHCO) was thus founded and registered on March 17, 2006 after fulfilling all required criteria under which following organization is running

Nepal Health Care Co-operative Limited (NEHCO) envisions ensuring the quality of life of the Nepalese people through the provision of quality health education and health services. 

Mission

Promote quality health services through equity in service delivery, social inclusion in health program planning and health service utilization, and production of competent human resources including marginalized groups and remote areas of Nepal.

Goal

Nepal Health Care Co-operative Limited (NEHCO) was established to contribute to the nation in health sectors by establishing hospitals to provide health services to the people of a marginalized group and to start health science academic programs to uplift the academic standard in the field of education.

Those established colleges and hospitals seek to prepare socially responsible and technically competent health professionals in the society, not only to pass examinations or profession but also aims at developing a tolerant, balanced, independent, and right attitude of mind and spirit and a desire to serve the patient with head, hands, and heart. Its special characteristics are the wide range of activities that it provides with the idea of developing a full personality and to bring out talents of the students for developing own benefit and that of society as a whole.
