SchoolNepalgunj Customs Office was established in Jayaspur Ward No. 7, Jayaspur, Banke District, Bheri Zone, BS 2013. It has been operating under ICP since 2081.01.24. Currently, it is located in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 16, Jayaspur. The main customs office is about 800 meters north of the Nepal-India border and about 4 km south of Nepalgunj Bazaar, the headquarters of Banke District. Similarly, the passenger branch of this office was previously located in its own building in Nepalgunj U.M.N.P.A. 20 (formerly Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 16) and was operating from that location. In order to make the passenger check-in and check-out process more simple, easy and organized, a new passenger branch building was constructed 50 meters north of the Nepal-India border and has been operating since 2075.02.1. The main items imported from India through this customs office include petroleum products - about 44% of the total revenue collected from this checkpoint is petroleum products - cement, mustard, sugar, rice, coal, textiles, motor parts, etc., while items such as aluminum scrap, copper scrap, plastic grains are imported from third countries. Items exported to India include khair katha, kutcha, herbs, ginger, dried fruits, etc., while items exported to third countries include wheat flour, timur, reetha, jatamsi mark, etc. There are 7 small customs offices under Nepalgunj Customs Office.
