Paklihawa campus is one of the four constituent campus of Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) , Tribhuvan University. Paklihawa campus is located in sourthern part of Rupendehi District in Siddharthanagar municipality. Paklhihawa Campus was established in 2035 B.S  on the property handed over by British Camp.
During the early days campus had Non academic program of Junior Technician from 1978 to 1984.The Academic program of I.Sc.Ag  was taught  from 1984-1998/99. Two years (four semester ) B.Sc.Ag program was launched  from 1999 to 2012. Full Phage of B.Sc.Ag  program was started since (2067/68 B.S). Similarly, B.Vsc and AH programme was started since 2012(2069/70) and.
Paklihawa Campus is presently the only  government institution at province No.5 which provides higher technical education in agriculture and veterinary.
The campus is spread in area of 31 hectares. The area occupied by Research and farm area is  about 19 Ha(vegetable farm, agronomy farm, research field livestock farm, pasture land, ornamental nurseries, orchard). Administration and residential buildings occupy an area of 12 Ha. There are 95 buildings including administration, classroom, laboratories, hostels, staffs, quarters, guest house and livestock buildings.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Our major physical resources/ properties include veterinary teaching hospital, laboratories, Farms, seminar hall, class buildings, hostels, bus and veterinary ambulance.
Our  human resources include 6 professors,4 associate professors , 26 assistant professors and 59 non teaching staffs who contribute directly or indirectly in the teaching learning process  at Paklihawa.
We do have collection and sale center of horticultural crops grown in college farms under project work and practical by students of different semesters.
