Prabhu Steels and Hydro Investment Company Limited was established as a public company by the Company Act 2063. Without the steel sector, there would be no infrastructure development. In this world, steel and iron-related goods are used to build Skyscrapers, Hydropower, Airports, Bridges, Metro systems, and other structures. This company was established on 2075/02/23 B.S. During the establishment of the company, the target of the company was to manufacture and assemble Steel and hydro equipment. As there was a huge crisis of quality raw materials of Steel and no reliable sources of raw materials, the company faced a lack of raw materials.  Due to the raw material crisis, the company depended on foreign resources.

Furthermore, there is no certainty of the quality of steel goods and the supply of hydro equipment. Because of this, the company's investment was guided towards different sectors such as hydropower, hotel and tourism, real estate, cable car, stock market, warehouse, etc. Recently, the company has decided to shift its focus towards investment in steel and Hydro. During the fiscal year 2080/81, the company had invested in the Siddartha Cablecar Project, the Badimalika Cablecar, the Ichchhakamana Cablecar Project, and three different hydro projects. The company has purchased 227812 sq. ft. of land near Birjung Dry port for a Warehouse.
