The Mahavidyalaya runs classes from Grade VI-X with compulsory boarding facilities for the boy students and optional boarding facilities for a certain percentage of the girl students. The girl students are generally day scholars and a certain percentage of them get boarding facilities on the basis of the accommodation capacity of the Mahavidyalaya and the necessity of the students based on the priority set by the Mahavidyalaya.

The Mahavidyalaya runs ten sections in each class  having around 40 students in each section i.e., there are altogether 50 sections from Grade VI to X. Each class is under the leadership of a Class Co-ordinator. All these sections and classes are grouped under three Blocks named East, West, and North.

The Mahavidyalaya has hitherto achieved outstanding academic results in District Level Exam/ Basic Level Exam of Grade VIII and SLC/SEE.

The enriched physical infrastructure, affordable fee structure, highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and professional teaching and non-teaching faculties, efficient administrative staff, well equipped science and computer laboratories, well stocked library with a lot of textbooks, reference books, and advanced access of internet facilities are some of the salient features of the Mahavidyalaya.

The continuous assessment of progress and performance, regular unit tests, home assignments, project works, and terminal examinations are a few significant areas where we strongly adhere to.
