Out of 9 municipalities of Kalikot district, Sanni Tribeni rural municipality is one of the RM of the district. The total area occupied by the RM is 136.71 sq km. The rural municipality is divided into 9 wards. Raskot municipality lies in east of the RM while Naraharinath RM lies in the west. Similarly, Tribeni RM of Bajura lies in north and Khandachakra municipality on south of the RM.
