The establishment of Shadananda Multiple Campus was done with the active participation of the local community in BS 2067 BS and was affiliated with Tribhuvan University in Dingla Bazaar, Bhojpur district. The campus is named after the educationist and social reformer Balaguru Shadananda. Balaguru had established the first community-run school in Nepal in Dingla, Bhojpur and also managed it for a long time.

This campus currently has two faculties, Education and Commerce. The four-year B.Ed program of the Faculty of Education offers courses in English Education, Nepali Education, Economics Education, Health and Physical Education, and Population Education. It was established as a community-run community campus with the aim of providing access to quality higher education in the northern region of Bhojpur district. The establishment of this campus has benefited and will benefit women, Dalits, indigenous people, and students from marginalized groups.
