With the aim of making Kavrepalanchok district a place of work and mobilizing the small capital scattered in this region in a systematic manner by integrating the main slogan of “mutual cooperation, goodwill and collective welfare for cooperatives”, inspired by 26 elders and nobles gathered from various villages of Kavrepalanchok district, this organization was registered on 18 Mangsir 2052 BS by the then District Cooperative Office under D. No. 198 and was in operation after obtaining a license to conduct limited banking transactions from Nepal Rastra Bank on 13 Magh 2053 BS. By absorbing the state’s cooperative integration campaign, this organization and the former Banepa District Municipality within this scope were merged by the Division Cooperative Office on 2071/10/22. 1, which is doing business after being duly integrated with Shree Dhakal Ganesh Savings and Loan Cooperative Society, on Ashar 31, 2077 BS. Mahankal Jyoti Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. located in Banepa 8, Siddhartha Multiple Cooperative Society Ltd. located in Panauti 6 and Padyashree Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Ltd. located in Kaushaltar Bhaktapur. It is currently doing business with its working area in Kavre, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu districts. Currently, the central office is operating in the name of this organization from a modern building located in Ghokechaur, Banepa-5, while the organization has a total of 6 service centers and one central office in Banepa 7, including Godamchowk, Panauti, Koteshwor in Kathmandu, Bethanchowk Dhunkharka, Kaushaltar in Bhaktapur and Panchkhal in Kavre, including 7 offices with A.B.B.S. facilities. The organization has been providing services to its share members in a manner that is available with A.B.B.S. facilities. In addition to the savings and loan program, the organization has also been carrying out social responsibility. Under which, it has been conducting medical treatment expenses, death relief facilities, pilgrimage facilities, maternity care facilities, various training and seminars, cooperative observation tours, skill-based trainings, cooperative-related education camps, and women's empowerment programs.
