Shree Swarojgar Bhawani Saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd., established on Jestha 4, 2064 B.S. (around May/June 2007) previously provided 27 small-scale cloth merchants from Krishnathaha, Anarmani 3, South Gate with a loan of NPR 1,30,000 (equivalent to One Lakh Thirty Thousand Rupees only). Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Sita Devi Basnet, a committee was formed and established on Mangsir 4, 2064 B.S. (around November/December 2007) according to that date. Presently, it has 28 service centers and 2 cooperative stores with fair prices in Urlabari Municipality of Jhapa, Ilam, and Morang districts. The cooperative has accumulated funds of NPR 1 billion and has 50,000 enrolled members.
