Simraungarh Municipality, located at 26 degrees 55 minutes north latitude and 85 degrees 10 minutes east longitude on the world map, is about 20 km southeast of the district headquarters of Bara and is connected to the Indian border. Geographically, this area is formed by the rift created by the Ganga and Jamuna rivers in the southern part of the Shivalik mountain range.
