Notice of Intent to Award of Contract

This is to notify all concerned that, as per the Expression of Interest (EOI) published on 24 September 2024 and the Request for Proposal (RFP) issued on 31 December 2024 in the national daily newspaper The Kathmandu Post, for Contract No. DSC/SKV-01-Design, Supervision, and Project Management Consultant for Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Improvement Project (Phase 2), the Client intends to award the contract to the joint venture between Shah Technical Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (India) and B.N. Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (Nepal), in association with Engineering Consultancy for Constructive Development Efforts in Nepal, Tech Studio of Engineering (Nepal), and Total Management Services Pvt. Ltd. (Nepal), which achieved the highest combined technical and financial score. The evaluated and/or corrected price is USD 1,195,400.00 (exclusive of VAT) and NPR 339,639,772.00 (exclusive of VAT but inclusive of Provisional Sum and Contingency).This notice is issued in accordance with Clause 27 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, and Clause 30 of the Instructions to Consultants of the RFP. Following the deadline as provisioned, the Client will proceed with the award of the contract to the selected consultant.
