15-day notice regarding terminating the contract

The construction contractor mentioned in the schedule and the Postal Highways Directorate have not made progress in the construction work mentioned in the schedule under the jurisdiction of this office as per the agreement and approved revised work schedule and have not shown any readiness to complete the work. Despite repeated verbal and written information from the office, the construction work has been stalled for a long time and the contractor has not shown any interest in completing the work as per the revised work schedule. This notice has been issued to all authorized persons to appear in this office with a revised work schedule that can be completed within the specified time within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, a reliable plan for resource mobilization and commitment to complete the work and an explanation if there is any reasonable reason not to terminate the contract. This notice also informs that if the authorized persons appear and do not provide a satisfactory explanation and a reliable basis for completing the work, action will be taken to terminate the contract in accordance with the terms of the contract agreement and prevailing laws.
