15-day notice regarding terminating the contract

The construction contractor mentioned in the schedule and the Postal Highways Directorate have not made progress in the construction work mentioned in the schedule under the jurisdiction of this project office for a long time and have not shown any readiness to complete the work, and the construction work has been stalled for a long time despite repeated verbal and written requests from the office, and the construction contractor has not shown any interest in completing the work as per the revised work schedule, and this is a Fundamental Breach of Contract. Therefore, this notice has been issued to the contractor to present a revised work schedule, a reliable plan for resource mobilization and a commitment to complete the work within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, and if there is any reasonable reason not to terminate the contract, an authorized person must appear at this office with an explanation and to resume the construction work immediately. This notice also informs that if the authorized person appears and does not provide a satisfactory explanation and a reliable basis for completing the work and if the construction work does not resume, action will be taken to terminate the contract in accordance with the terms of the contract agreement and prevailing laws.
