Notice Regarding Contract Termination

The former Veterinary Hospital and Animal Service Expert Center, Tanahun and have not made any progress in the  as per the contract agreement and have not shown any readiness to complete the work. Despite verbal and written requests from the office on various dates, the construction work has been stalled for a long time and no interest has been shown in completing the construction work. Therefore, why not terminate the contract agreement as provided in Section 59 of the Public Procurement Act 2063 and Sub-rule (2) of Rule 128 of the Public Procurement Regulations 2064 and GCC Clause 72.1 (c) and 72.3 (b) and 72.3 (g) of the Public Procurement Agreement? If there is any reasonable reason not to terminate the contract, the construction entrepreneur is hereby notified to appear in person at this office with a credible explanation within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of the notice. Otherwise, in accordance with the terms of the contract agreement mentioned above and the prevailing acts, rules and regulations, action will be taken to terminate the contract and blacklist the contractor, forfeit the performance security deposit, and recover the additional expenses incurred for the outstanding work as government arrears.
