1. The Government of Nepal [GoN] has received a credit from the World Bank towards the cost of Water Sector Governance and Infrastructure Support Project (WaSGISP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Matgaura Water Supply Project in Bardagoriya Rural Municipality, Kailali. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised September 2023).

2. The Water Sector Governance and Infrastructure Support Project (WaSGISP) Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Bardagoriya, Kailali, Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of for Construction of Matgaura Water Supply Project in Bardagoriya Rural Municipality, Kailali for the construction period of 18 months under National Competitive Bidding-Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of last 5 years NRs 136.4 million

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: One number of project and value of NRs 109.20 million

3. Bidder to submit their bid electronically may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Only) should deposit the cost of bidding document in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below)

4. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at of Project Implementation Unit, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality at 11:00 hrs on 3rd August 2025.

5. Electronic bids must be submitted through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on before 12:00 hrs on 17th August 2025. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend on 17th August 2025 at the office of Project Implementation Unit, Bardagoriya, Kailali. Bids must be valid until 15th December 2025 and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid\amounting to a minimum of NRs 3.20 million (Three Twenty thousand Nepalese Rupees only) which shall be valid until 14th January 2026.

7. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
