Notice of Tender Invitation

Since this office has a program to distribute improved potato seeds at a 50 percent subsidy in the current fiscal year 2082/083, it is necessary to

supply improved potato seeds

Therefore, bids are invited from interested potato seed producing farmer groups, seed producing companies, agricultural cooperatives and agricultural firms to supply improved potato seeds, subject to the conditions mentioned in this notice, as follows.

1) The bidder or his authorized representative may purchase the bid from the Agricultural Development Branch of this office within 30 days (2082/05/31) from the date of publication of the first copy of the notice of invitation to bid in the national daily newspaper, along with the receipt of payment of Rs. 3,000.-(non-refundable after three thousand), the registration certificate renewed for the fiscal year 2082/083, the certificate of registration in the M.A. Tax, certified copies of the certificates of tax paid up to the fiscal year 2081/082, a copy of the certificate of registration with the concerned body, the permanent account number certificate, the audit report of the fiscal year 2081/082, a written declaration that he is not qualified to participate in the procurement proceedings and, if the proprietor is not present in person, the original application of his approval.

2) The bid must be submitted on the same form after purchasing a bid form signed by the head of this office and bearing the office seal.

3) The outer envelope of the bid should be addressed to the office, clearly mentioning the name of the work and contract number, and the name of the supplier and the name and number of the seal affixed.

4) No action will be taken on any bids that have not been sold by this office, that have not been received with a security attached, that have one security attached to another, that have different contents in the outer envelope, that have not been sealed, that have been received with any conditions or objections, and that have not been received in due time.

5) The bids must be registered by 12:00 PM on the 31st day (2082/07/01) from the date of first publication. Bids submitted after the specified date and time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at this office at 2:00 PM on the same day in the presence of the bidders or their representatives. The absence of the bidders or their representatives will not prevent the bids from being opened.

6) The bidder shall submit a bid bond of Rs. 1,00,000.- (One lakh) only in the original voucher deposited in the deposit account of the office located at Belauri Municipality Office, Kanchanpur, National Bank Branch Office, Belauri, No. 43901003000002 or a bid bond issued in the name of this office by a (Class A) commercial bank acceptable to the Government of Nepal, valid for at least 90 days from the last date of submission of bids. No action will be taken against bids with a shorter deadline or less amount.

7) If the last day for bid registration falls on a holiday, bids can be registered on the next office opening day.

8) If there is a difference between the figures and letters of the bid amount submitted, the letters will be recognized.

9) The office reserves the right to accept or reject the submitted bids, accept them partially, or cancel the notification altogether with or without assigning any reason.

10) No action will be taken against sealed bids that are received after the deadline, incomplete, or with conditions attached.

11) Bid forms purchased in the name of one firm cannot be submitted in the name of another person or firm.

12)

The materials to be purchased must be purchased according to the specified specifications.

13) In matters other than those mentioned herein, the Public Procurement Act 2063, Public Procurement Regulations 2064 and other prevailing acts and rules shall apply.
