Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward No. 2, on the land behind Narayani Hospital on the east side, this notice has been published for the first time in accordance with the decision of Birgunj Metropolitan City dated 2082/03/05 regarding the lease of the vegetable and fruit market mentioned in the details for the year 3 as per Section 59 of the Local Government Operation Act, 2074 and Section 13 Schedule-12 of the Finance Act of Birgunj Metropolitan City, 2081. Interested individuals, firms or organizations are advised to submit sealed bids. In addition, this notice can be downloaded and viewed from the website of Birgunj Metropolitan City birgunjmun.gov.np.

1. The bid form can be purchased from the Revenue Management Division of this office within 30 days from the date of first publication of this notice along with a cash receipt for payment of the fee mentioned in the details.

2. The bids can be registered in this office by 12:00 PM on the day following the last date of purchase. The sealed bids registered within the specified time will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM in the presence of the bidder himself or his representative and office representatives at the office of the Municipal Executive Council. Even if the bidder or his representative is not present, there will be no obstacle to opening the bids.

3. Along with the bid, an original voucher or a copy of the bid bond valid for 120 days as per the notice issued by the commercial bank or financial institution, depositing 5 percent of the agreed amount in the deposit account No. 12501003000002 of this office at the National Commercial Bank, must be enclosed.

4. The amount of the bid must be clearly stated in both figures and words in the bid and submitted with a signature. In case of discrepancy between figures and words, the amount written in words will be accepted.

5. When submitting the bid, the name of this office and the title of the bid must be clearly stated on the outside of the sealed envelope.

6. If the last day for purchasing or registering bids falls on a public holiday, the office will be reopened on the same day as the first day it is open.

7. Along with the bid, a copy of the citizenship certificate, business certificate from the Birgunj Metropolitan City Executive Office, tax payment certificate, and any other tax payable, if any, up to the current fiscal year, must be submitted.

8. In the case of matters mentioned in the bid, it shall be as per this and in the case of matters not mentioned, it shall be as per the Local Government Operation Act, 2074, the Financial Act of Birgunj Metropolitan City, and the prevailing law. 10. If you pay a lump sum amount equal to the contract points you have agreed to, a maximum discount of 10 percent may be given, not to be less than the minimum points.

11. In case of any dispute regarding the contract, the decision made by Birgunj Metropolitan Municipality will be the final decision.
