As the contract as per the details has to be arranged for the collection of internal revenue of this Gauriganj Rural Municipality for the fiscal year 082/083, contracts are invited from interested individuals and firms subject to the following conditions.

1) Interested bidders may purchase the bid documents from this office within 7 days from the date of publication of the bid form notice for the second time by paying the fee mentioned below (non-refundable) along with the application within 7 days from the date of publication of the bid form notice for the second time.

2) The purchased bid form should be sealed and registered in this office by 12:00 PM on 2082/04/06, clearly mentioning your or your firm's name, address, contract number and contact number on the outside of the envelope.

3) The tender documents purchased will be opened at this office on 2082/04/06 at 2:00 PM on the date of publication for the second time in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives and the representatives of the office. Even if the tenderers or their representatives are not present, there will be no obstacle to opening the tender documents.

Last day 4) If the last day for purchasing or submitting bids falls on a holiday, the next office opening day will be the same.

5) If the above-mentioned tender documents are purchased in the name of a firm, a certified copy of the firm renewal, in the case of a local firm, a certified copy of the business tax certificate registered in the rural municipality, and a certified copy of the value added tax registration certificate must be included. 6) The amount of deposit, which will be 5 percent if the bidder is a Nepali citizen and 10 percent if the bidder is a non-Nepali citizen, of the contract number he has agreed to, will have to be deposited in cash in the name of this Gauriganj Rural Municipality Office, Shri NIC, Gauriganj, G 3-Dharauti Khata-Gauriganj Rural Municipality Account No. 0872050028426002, along with the original voucher.

7) Bids submitted after the deadline, without proper formalities, or with conditions will not be accepted.

8) The bidder must state the rate excluding Value Added Tax (VAT) mentioned in the bid. If there is a difference between the figures and the letters in the rate, the letters will be accepted. If there is a difference, the signature should be placed in the place where the difference is made.

9) This office reserves all rights to accept or reject, partially accept or cancel the bid, keeping in mind the interests of this office.

10) If the contract is approved and the amount is to be paid in installments, a bank guarantee issued in the name of this office from a bank recognized by Nepal Rastra Bank equal to the first installment and the remaining installment amount must be submitted before the contract is signed. If the entire amount as per the contract is paid in one lump sum at the time of the contract, a discount of 10 percent of the bid amount will be given and if the installment amount is not paid on time, the rural municipality will recover the installment amount from the bank guarantee.

11) The contractor shall collect tax only as per the rates attached with the bid form.

12) The contractor himself will have to pay all types of taxes (including VAT) payable to the Government of Nepal for the contract.

13) Contracts may only be executed in accordance with the contract agreement and lease. Taxes and fees prohibited by law may not be collected.

14) The contractor will have to arrange the receipts, staff arrangements and accommodation to be used while collecting the income contract. The receipt must be stamped with the seal of this Gauriganj Rural Municipality Office. If the receipt is found to be used without the seal and if the tax fee is collected outside the prescribed rate, the contractor will be taken action as per the rules.

15) In case of any difference of opinion between the bidder and the rural municipality, the decision of the rural municipality shall be final. In the case of matters not mentioned in this notice, the prevailing laws of the Government of Nepal shall apply.
