This notice has been published as it is necessary to make a contract arrangement for the collection of advertisement tax within the Godavari Municipality area for the period of the fiscal year 082/83 in accordance with Sub-section 2 (d) of the Local Government Administration Act, 2074 under the Functions, Duties and Powers of the Municipality and Section 64 Sub-section (1) (c) of the same Act and as per the rate established in Schedule 7 of the Finance Act, 2082 issued for the current fiscal year of this Municipality. Interested and qualified businessmen, contractors/firms who have registered and obtained a certificate in accordance with the prevailing Nepal law shall purchase the bid form within the office hours on 2082/04/30 and submit the sealed bid in figures and words clearly stating the contract amount accepted on the mentioned basis to this office by themselves or through their representatives by 12:00 noon on 2082/05/01. The bid can be submitted by downloading the bid form electronically (E-Bidding: eGp system) through the website of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp/ and depositing the tender form fee amount in the revenue bank account of this municipality mentioned in the schedule by 12:00 noon on 2082/05/01. The bids that have been registered (including E-Bidding) will be opened at this office at 1:00 pm on 2082/05/01. If the last day for submission of bids or the day of opening falls on a public holiday, the office will open on the next day at the same time. Along with the bid, the original voucher of the bid bond amount mentioned in the schedule deposited in the deposit account of this office or the original copy of the bid bond issued by a commercial bank recognized by Nepal Rastra Bank, which is valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the last date for submission of bids, should be enclosed. The amount deposited as a deposit cannot be included in the installments. The total contract amount will be the total contract amount after adding the VAT to the contract amount. The contract amount can be paid in a lump sum or in two installments at the time of signing the contract. The contract tax/duty rates and minimum contract amount mentioned in the details have been determined and the conditions have been attached to the bid form and also posted on the notice board and website (www.godawarimun.gov.np). This municipality reserves all rights to make decisions related to the contract, including accepting, rejecting or canceling the bid. The contractor must mandatorily follow the decisions, guidelines and conditions made by the Government of Nepal, Bagmati Province Government and this municipality. In the case of other matters, the prevailing law will apply.
