Subject:- Notice inviting online bids for the purchase of free essential medicines

As per the decision of the Procurement Committee meeting of this Municipality dated 2082/05/16, as per the notice published by the Municipality, the Bidder or his authorized representative shall purchase the Bid online by paying the Bid Form Fee of Rs. 3000.- to the Office Account No. 44801003010002 located at Ra.wa. Mehelkuna within 11:59 on 2082.06.23, along with the Company Registration Certificate or Firm Registration Certificate renewed for the year 20811082, Pharmaceutical Business Certificate, Income Tax Registration Certificate and VAT Registration and Tax Payment Certificate.

1. Bid forms will be sold and distributed until 11:59 AM on 2082.06.23. The bid forms registered at 13:00 PM on the same day will be opened in the presence of the office representatives and the bidders' representatives. There will be no obstacle to opening even if the bidders or representatives are not present. The bidders will have to deposit cash in the deposit account of this municipality, Co. Ra. Bank, Mehlakuna Branch, Surkhet, H. No. 44801003000002, and submit a genuine voucher or a genuine bank guarantee (wide bond) issued in the name of this office by a commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank with a validity of at least 120 days.

2. The rate quoted in the bid must be clearly stated in both figures and words. In case of any discrepancy between figures and words, the words shall prevail. The bid must be signed at the place of quotation.

3. When purchasing medicines, only medicines manufactured by WHO GMP Certified Companies will be purchased. Medicines supplied in bottles should be in plastic bottles and pills in strips. The outside of each packaging of medicines supplied should have the date of manufacture, expiry date, batch number, and the phrase Supply for Ministry of Health & Population, Nepal (This medicine/goods is not for sale).

4. The medicine must have 18 months of validity remaining before it can be submitted, but in cases where the validity of a medicine is less than 18 months, it can be submitted when 75 percent of the validity period remains.

4. Since the price submitted in the bid is for this period, no price increase will be accepted until the end of Ashadha. If additional funds are available for the purchase of medicines, the purchase will be made at this rate.

Letter of Acceptance 8. This municipality shall have the full right to increase or decrease the quantity requested in the bid, to accept or reject the bid, or to accept it partially.

9. According to Rule 40 E of the Public Procurement Regulations 2064, the bidder must submit a written declaration stating that he is not disqualified from participating in the procurement process, that his interests are not at stake, and that he has not been convicted of any offense related to the relevant profession or business.
