The procurement of Electric Vehicle for the finance.

Criteria

1. General

Requirement

Five Door, Rear-wheel and Right-Hand Drive Electric Battery-Driven Vehicle suitable to operate in all varied road conditions and temperatures of Nepal. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) shall not be less than 2,150 kg and shall have a total seating capacity for at least 5 persons, including the driver.

2. Power Train

Vehicle should have AC Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Max. Rated power output not less than 135 KW and torque not less than 220 N-m at governed RPM.

3. Battery System

Battery shall be a minimum of 65 KWh (Kilowatt-hour) whose Driving Range should not be less than 400 Km. Charging system shall have facility of charging with single phase home supply 220V AC or 3 phase AC and DC fast charging. The bidder shall supply charger for a home supply and portable on- board charger which can be carried along with vehicle. Also, 7 kW additional charger must be provided.

8. Body/cab

Four side doors and one rear door for the luggage compartment at the rear of the vehicle. All metallic cab with insulated roof.

Laminated/tinted glasses windscreen, front & rear windscreen washers and wipers, comfortable and adjustable seats for driver and co- passengers. Two sun visors, rear view mirror and two side view mirrors.

9. Chassis and frame

Steel, heavy duty and suitable for rough road conditions with towing hook.

Documentation Required:

a. Company registration certificate.

b. Valid copies of PAN/ VAT registration certificate.

c. Latest tax clearance certificate.

Terms and Conditions

a. Bidder should not be blacklisted.

b. The detailed specifications and requirement of the vehicle is mentioned in the Bid document.

c. A copy of bid document can be obtained from Gurkhas Finance Ltd., Head Office, Dillibazar, Kathmandu after submission of written application in Company's letter head along with payment of non-refundable application fee of NRs. 1,000/- (In words: One Thousand Rupees Only).

d. Bidder should enclose bid security or cash margin equivalent to a minimum of 10% of quoted amount with validity of 90 days in bid document.

e. Bid document has to be submitted with 5:00 pm, Sunday, 19ª Ashoj, 2082.

f. Sealed quotation shall be opened on Monday, 20th Ashoj, 2082 at 1:00 PM at Head Office Dillibazar, Kathmandu or next business day in case there is public holiday on that day. Sealed bid shall be opened in the presence of bidder/ their representative or other witnesses. However, absence of any bidder/their representative shall not obstruct the bid opening.

g. Finance reserves the right to accept/ reject the sealed quotation without specifying any reasons whatsoever. Further terms and conditions shall apply as mentioned on the Bid document.
