Notice inviting 7 (seven) days confidential sealed bids for the sale of non-banking assets in the name of Himalayan Bank Limited

This confidential sealed bid is hereby invited for the sale of the non-banking movable and immovable property registered in the name of this bank as per the details herein, in the same condition as it is, through confidential sealed bid. This notice is published for the information of all those who are interested in purchasing the said non-banking property and are willing to submit confidential sealed bids subject to the following conditions.

Land registered at Land Revenue Office, Dillibazaar, Kathmandu, Kathmandu District, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward No. 33, Map Seat No. 33, currently converted Ward No. 30, K.No. 2885, Sector 0-10-0-0 (Ropani) and the house built on it.

Land Revenue Office Lagankhel, Lalitpur, Lalitpur District Dhapakhel VDC/GMC/NP Ward No. 1 Map Seat No. 1G, KM No. 594, 1294, 1295 and 1296 respectively, area code 0-3-3-2 (Ropani), 0-4-0-1 (Ropani), 0-4-2-0 (Ropani) land and the house built on it and land 0-4-0-1 (Ropani).

Land registered in Land Revenue Office Kavrepalanchok, Kavrepalanchok District, Dhulikhel Village Council/Villa/NPC Ward No. 8, Map Seat No. 8, Km. No. 1065, Area No. 5476.53 sq.m. Land.

Land registered at Land Revenue Office Kavrepalanchok, Kavrepalanchok District Banepa Village Council/Ga.Pa/N.Pa. Ward No. 5 Map Seat No. 5, Km. No. 2041 and 279 respectively, Area F. 23.43 km. and 332.95 km. of land.

Conditions of Bid:

1. Bid forms can be purchased from the following branches of this bank during office hours on payment of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable). Bids submitted in photocopied form will not be accepted.

2. The bidder must submit a bid in the prescribed format, stating the bid amount for the property for which he/she wishes to bid.

3. Sealed bids must be received on the date, place and time specified in this notice. No action will be taken on bids received after the deadline or without the required formalities and with conditions.

4. If the day of submission/opening of bids falls on a holiday, bids may be submitted/opened on the next business day. Even if the bidder or his representative is not present on the day of bid opening, there will be no impediment to opening the bids.

5. The details of the property you wish to purchase, the amount you have bid for, and the bid amount must be clearly stated in figures and words, and must be submitted sealed in the bid form purchased from the bank.

6. At the time of submitting the bid, a receipt of depositing in cash an amount equal to 10 percent of the agreed-upon number of points in the bank's designated account (IDT HO A/C: 00199999990090) or an original copy of a "Good for Payment Cheque" drawn in the name of this bank must be submitted along with the sealed bid.

7. The person/firm/company submitting the bid must submit a copy of the citizenship certificate/registration certificate, duly attested by the person/firm/company. In addition, in the case of a corporate body/firm/company, a copy of the authority of the body/firm and company, and a copy of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) certificate must also be submitted to participate in the bid.

8. The bank reserves the right to cancel the auction process or accept/reject the bid or negotiate under any circumstances. The deposit amount cannot be returned or claimed for interest until the auction is concluded.

9. If the former borrower/landlord pays the entire amount due to the bank as per the rules before the bid is accepted by the bank, the bank may cancel the auction sale.

10. The bidder shall inspect the movable and immovable property to be auctioned by the bank and accept the movable and immovable property in the same condition and quantity as it is. Interested parties who wish to inspect the property to be auctioned and other matters or to inspect it on site may contact this bank during office hours. The bidder shall himself verify the map, field map, area, criteria prescribed by the Government of Nepal and its subordinate bodies, etc. of the property to be sold and submit the bid.

11. The bidder shall pay the entire amount of the bid within 7 days from the date of receipt of the notice of acceptance of the bid and take charge of the property under security. If the amount is not paid within that time limit, 10 percent of the amount deposited as security will be automatically forfeited. The security amount of the rejected bidder will be returned.

12. The person or organization accepting the auction shall pay all liabilities, including Government of Nepal fees, registration fees, property tax, local tax, profit tax, and water/electricity charges (including outstanding arrears) incurred while transferring ownership of the property put up for auction.

13. Other conditions related to the bid shall be as mentioned in the bid form.
