1. Kanchan Rural Municipality has allocated funds towards the cost of Blacktopping of the road from Kutta through Bagahi Materiya to Mainiya and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for KRM/WORK/NCB/02/082/83. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.

2. Kanchan Rural Municipality invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of asphalting of road under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 39 (Thirty Nine) million.

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: asphalting work of 445cu.m and basework of 1345cu.m per year.

3. Bidder shall submit their bid electronically, Bidders are required to submit two separate bid response documents, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.

4. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Kanchan Rural Municipality, Kanchan-2, Rupandehi, Phone no.-9857088246,email address-kanchangaupalika@gmail.com or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.

5. A complete set of bidding documents may be downloaded for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Eligible bidders, submitting their bids electronically, must deposit the non-refundable cost of the bidding documents of NRs. 5,000.00 in the account specified below and submit a copy of the deposit voucher along with the electronic bid. The deadline for obtaining and submitting the documents is 2082/06/05 up to 12:00 P.M.

7. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at the office of Kanchan Rural Municipality, Kanchan-02, Rupandehi at 2082/05/29 at 12:00P.M.

8. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office of Kanchan Rural Municipality, Kanchan-02, Rupandehi through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp_on or before 12:00p.m. on 2082/06/05. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

9. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 1:00p.m at 2082/06/05 at the office of Kanchan Rural Municipality. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the bid submission deadline and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of
