Notice of invitation of bids for collection of stones, gravel, sand and excavation fees in Khaniyabas Rural Municipality, Dhading

The fee for the extraction of stones, gravel and sand from various approved locations under the Akhu River of this rural municipality is collected through bidding at the rates mentioned in the Provincial Finance Act, 2082 of the Bagmati Province Government for the fiscal year 2082/083. Therefore, interested individuals, firms or companies are requested to submit their copies of their citizenship certificates, certificates of registration and renewal in the case of the firm, value added tax registration certificates, copies of certificates of payment of taxes as per the rules, and a self-declaration letter stating that they are eligible to perform the said work within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice using the website of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office at https;ppmo.gov.np/egp.

Conditions:

1. Valid period of the contract: (In the case of excavation and collection, it will remain in effect from the date of signing the agreement until mid-Jestha 2083 BS and in the case of sale, it will remain in effect from the date of signing the agreement until mid-Ashar 2083 BS.

2. No discount or exemption will be given in case of delay in signing the agreement due to the contractor. The rural municipality will also keep a record of the approved quantity. Accordingly, if the tradable quantity is sold before the mentioned period, the specified period will automatically expire early.

3. While registering the bid, an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid amount must be deposited in Global IIM E Bank Ltd. Darkha, Khaniyabas Deposit Account No. 36204010000004 (dharauti khata) in the name of the rural municipality, along with a bid bond issued by a recognized commercial bank with a validity of at least 120 days from the date of expiry of the bid.

4. If the last day for purchasing and registering the bid form falls on a holiday, the first day the office is open thereafter will be considered the last day.

5. The bidders included in the bid shall include the bid fee of Rs. 3000.00 in the bid documents by scanning the voucher submitted by the bidders in the name of this office in Global IYEM Bank Ltd. Darkha, Khaniyabas Branch, Internal Revenue Account No.: Ga-1.1 Antarik Rajaswa Khaata(Khaniyabas Ga.Pa.)., 36204010000005 (rajaswa khata). The original copies of the same shall be made available to the office immediately after the bid is opened.

6. The received bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at this office on the same day at 1:00 PM immediately after the registration of the bidders. Also, there will be no obstacle to the opening even if the bidder's representative is not present at the time of bid opening.

7. If there is a difference between the numbers and letters quoted by the bidders, the letters will be considered.

8. Within 15 days of receiving the information that the bid has been accepted, the bidder must deposit a minimum of 40% cash in the account specified by the office with the original voucher and the remaining 60% as mentioned in the bid within the installment or period specified in the installment agreement. In case of payment of installment fee, the agreement must be signed with a performance bond from a commercial bank recognized by the Government of Nepal in the name of this office with a validity period of at least 2083 Shram Masant.

9. The Khaniyabas Rural Municipality office reserves the right to accept or reject the bid with or without assigning any reason.

12. If the contract is signed after the specified period due to some reason, the contract amount will be determined by deducting the daily amount due according to the annual contract amount for the number of days of delay.
