Notice of invitation to bid for sale of land

As some important commercial and residential plots of the second phase owned by the Kohalpur Municipal Development Committee will be sold and distributed at a price not less than the committee's minimum price, sealed bids are invited from interested buyers to submit formal proposals in compliance with the following conditions.

Conditions:

1. Bid forms may be purchased from the office of the Committee by submitting an application along with a copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate within 30 days from the date of first publication of this notice and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000.- (three thousand in characters only) per plot. The bid forms must be registered at the office of the Committee by 12:00 PM on the 31st day from the date of publication of this notice. The registered bids will be opened in the presence of representatives at the office of this Committee at 1:00 PM on the same day. Even if the bidders or their representatives are not present, there will be no impediment to opening the bids.

2. If the last day for purchasing and submitting bids falls on a public holiday, the work will be done on the next business day.

3. The bidder must clearly state the plot number of the land he wishes to purchase and the price he has accepted in both figures and words. In case of any discrepancy between figures and words, the words will prevail. The signature must be stamped at the place where the quotation is made.

4. Along with the bid, a deposit amount of at least 10 percent of the bid amount of the land you wish to purchase must be submitted along with the original bank voucher deposited in the Agricultural Development Bank of this committee, Kohalpur branch (C.H. No. 0720500364003021 (Deposit Account).

5. The notice of acceptance of the bid will be posted on the notice board of this committee. It will also be published in a national daily newspaper.

6. The persons selected for the purchase of the plot shall deposit the remaining 90 percent of the amount in the specified bank account within 9 months from the date of publication of the notice, i.e., the first installment of 30 percent in 3 months, the second installment of 30 percent in 6 months, and the third installment of 30 percent in 9 months, and submit the original bank voucher to this committee. If the price is not paid within the specified time, the deposit kept with the bid will be forfeited and the plot will not be claimed later. Also, if the lump sum and less payment is made, the land can be registered at the same time.

7. This office reserves the right to accept or reject the bid. If the highest evaluated accepted bidder does not agree, the notice will be re-published.

8. A separate bid form must be submitted for each plot.

9. Other matters not mentioned in this notice shall be governed by the prevailing laws and regulations.
