Internal Revenue Service Contract Notice

This office has decided to arrange the tax collection work through a contract under special circumstances for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/083, as per the decision of the special session of the Municipal Assembly of this municipality. Therefore, this notice is published to invite interested firms or companies to submit bids within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this notice, subject to the following conditions.

1. Bidding fee Rs. 3,000.00 voucher should be deposited in the Letang Municipality's Rastriya Banijya Bank, Branch Office Letang, (C1.1) Internal Revenue Account No. 24501003010002, Revenue Head No. 14249 (non-refundable).

2. While submitting the bid, the amount of 5 percent of the amount including tax pledged by the bidder as bid security shall be deposited in the (C3) Deposit Account No. 24501003000002 of this office at the Rastriya Banijya Bank, Branch Office Letang, in the form of an original bank voucher or a bid security issued by a “A” class bank valid till 30th of March 2082.

3. If the last day for bid procurement or the day of bid submission falls on a public holiday, the aforementioned activities will be carried out on the next day.

4. The Pre-bid Meeting for this work will be held on 2082/05/20 at 1 PM in this office.

5. The duly submitted bids will be opened in the presence of the representative of this office and the contractor or his representative on the following date and time. However, the absence of the contractor or his representative shall not prevent the bids from being opened.

6. Bids submitted after the deadline, incomplete, or with any conditions will not be accepted.

7. To submit the bid, a copy of the Business Registration Certificate renewed for the fiscal year 2081/082, Tax Payment Certificate for the fiscal year 2081/081, and VAT Registration Certificate must be submitted.

8. The contractor himself will have to pay the taxes, duties, and fees payable as per the prevailing laws in relation to the contract.

9. If you come to sign the agreement by paying the agreed amount in one lump sum, a discount of up to 10 percent will be given as per the decision of the Seventeenth Municipal Assembly. However, there will be no discount on VAT.

10. If you wish to pay in installments, you will have to pay 60 percent of the first installment at the time of signing the agreement, 20 percent of the second installment by mid-Magh, and 20 percent of the final installment by mid-Baishakh. However, when signing such an installment agreement, you will have to submit a performance bond equal to the remaining amount to be paid.

11. Even though the contract period is till mid-Ashar 2083, in case of delay in signing the contract for any reason, the minimum score agreed upon by the contractor will be applicable from the date of signing the contract. In this regard, the contractor will not be entitled to claim any reduction in the agreed score.
