Notice of Advertisement Tax Collection Contract

This office has to arrange for the tax collection work mentioned in the details through contract as per Rule 138 of Letang Municipality Public Procurement Regulations 2076 for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/083. Therefore, interested firms or companies are requested to submit sealed bids in hard copy to this office within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, subject to the following conditions.

1. The sealed bid fee voucher of Rs. 1,000.00 should be deposited (non-refundable) in the Letang Municipality's Rastriya Banijya Bank, Branch Office, Letang, (C1.1) Internal Revenue Account No. 24501003010002, Revenue Head No. 14249.

2. While submitting the sealed bid, the bidder shall enclose a bid security of 5 percent of the amount of the bid security including VAT, deposited in the (G3) Deposit Account No. 24501003000002 of this office at the Rastriya Banijya Bank, Branch Office Letang, in the original bank voucher or a bid security issued by a “A” class bank valid till 21st Kartik 2082 (November 21).

3. If the last day for purchasing sealed bids or the day for submitting sealed bids falls on a public holiday, the aforementioned activities will be carried out on the next day.

4. The Pre-bid Meeting for this work will be held on 2082.04.30 at 1 PM in this office.

5. The duly submitted sealed bids will be opened in the presence of the representative of this office and the contractor or his representative on the following date and time. However, the absence of the contractor or his representative shall not prevent the bids from being opened.

6. To submit a sealed bid, a copy of the Business Registration Certificate renewed for the fiscal year 2081/082, Tax Payment Certificate for the fiscal year 2080/081, and VAT Registration Certificate must be submitted.

7. If you come to sign the agreement by paying the agreed amount in one lump sum, a maximum discount of 10 percent can be given. However, there will be no discount on VAT.

8. If you wish to pay in installments, you will have to pay 60 percent of the amount for the first installment, 20 percent for the second installment by mid-Poush, and 20 percent for the last installment by mid-Baishakh. However, when making such an agreement in installments, you will have to submit a performance bond equal to the remaining amount to be paid.

9. Other matters shall be in accordance with prevailing laws and rules.
