for the Construction of Undergraduate Program Building - Block 2

1. Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology (MBUST) invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Undergraduate Program Building - Block 2 under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following specific construction experience should participate in this bidding:

a) Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 332 million excluding VAT

i) Participation as Prime contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, within the last ten (10) years, that have been successfully or are substantially completed with a value of at least NRs 288 Million in a single RCC building Project and that are similar to the proposed works. The similarity shall be based on the physical size, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described;

1. Electrical Works

2. Sanitary Works

3. Firefighting Works

2. Participation as Prime contractor in at least one (1) or cumulative of Two (2) RCC frame structure building contract completed within the original contract period prior to the applications submission deadline within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NRs 288 Million excluding VAT and PS

3. Participation as Prime contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, within a last ten (10) years, For the above or other contracts stipulated in 2.4.2(a) above, a minimum annual production rate on construction experience in the following key activities that have been successfully or substantially completed in a single RCC building project:

Steel Reinforcement: 5,46,200.00 kg

RCC Works M25 and above: 2970 Cu.m

5. Bids are to be submitted electronically through www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before August 27, 2025 (Bhadra 11, 2082) by 13:00 hours, and bids will be opened on the same day at 14:00 hours.
