Tender Notice for the Purchase of Medicines

Second time notice published date 2082/03/03

According to the annual program of FY 2081/0812, this tender has been invited for the procurement of 98 types of medicines required for the health institutions under this municipality through sealed bid.

1. The bid can be purchased within the office hours of the 30th day of the date of publication of the notice for the first time, by attaching a non-refundable cash payment of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Thousand only) along with the application. In order to purchase the bid, the applicant must submit a certified copy of the company registration certificate or labor registration certificate, or firm registration certificate, income tax registration certificate and permanent account registration certificate, and proof of payment of tax for the year 2080/0801, along with copies of the necessary documents, along with the application for purchasing the bid form.

2. The bids must be purchased within the office hours of the 30th day from the date of publication of the notice for the first time and must be duly filled and sealed and registered at the office of this municipality, Malangwa, Sarlahi, by 12:00 PM on the 31st day. The registered bids will be opened at this office on the 31st day at 2:00 PM in the presence of the bidders or their representatives. If the last day for purchasing and submitting bids falls on a holiday, the next day on which the office is open will be considered the last day.

3. While registering the sealed bid, the amount of security for the bid is Rs. 73,080/- (in words Rs. Seventy Three Thousand Eighty Rupees only) in the name of Malangwa Municipality, Nepal Bank Limited, Malangwa, Deposit Account No. 0290300000300000002, duly registered with the Bank, along with a recognized bank guarantee valid for at least 120 days from the last day of the bid notification. After the bid of the bidder is accepted, an amount equal to 5% of the accepted score should be deposited in the deposit account before the agreement is made or a performance bond issued in the name of this office should be submitted and if cash deposit is kept, it cannot be converted into performance bond.

In case of any discrepancy between the rate quoted in figures and the rate quoted in words for each item tendered by the bidder, the rate quoted in words shall prevail. The bid must be signed at the place indicated.

5. This office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bids received in the interest of the municipality. In addition, the quantity of medicines mentioned in the bid may be increased or decreased. Despite such increase or decrease, the bidder must provide the same price as quoted. news

6. The medicines and surgical supplies as per the accepted bid will be purchased either in bulk or by placing separate orders as required. The supplies must be of high quality and manufactured by a WHO GMP Certified Company.

8. The bidder will have to bear the transportation of the medicines supplied to the office.

9. The itemized price of each item must be filled in the bid form.

10. The medicine to be supplied must have at least 18 months or 75 percent of its expiration date remaining and must be stamped as free.

11. According to Rule 40 (e) of the Public Procurement Regulations 2064, the bidder must submit a written declaration stating that he is not legally ineligible with the bid.

12. Apart from the above conditions, the conditions not covered hereunder shall be as per the Public Procurement Act, 2063 BS and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2064 BS and other prevailing laws and regulations. Any other matters related to the bid may be understood during office hours.

13. The estimated cost of the goods to be purchased is Rs. 24,36,000.- (Aksherepi is only twenty-four lakh thirty-six thousand.

14. The manufacturing date, expiry date, batch number and the statement that it is for free distribution by the Government of Nepal should be clearly mentioned on the outside of each packaging of the medicine supplied. Also, the batch number should be submitted along with the bill of the medicine supplied.

15. All items supplied in bottles must be in plastic bottles.

16. Payment method: Will be as per the release received from the Government of Nepal.
