Invitation for Bids for Procurement of Medicines of Tuberculosis

1. The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population, National Tuberculosis Control Center invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Following Medicine of Tuberculosis under International Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope. The bidder may submit the bid for single or more slices as mentioned below and offer discounts/cross discounts. Evaluation will be done for each slice, with contracts awarded based on the award combination that is of least cost to the Purchaser.

2. Evaluation shall be conducted of each slice and the contract award shall be made for each slice. The name of medicine and slice with bid security amount are as follows:

3. Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 23 of the Bidding Document.

4. The bidders have to submit bid security either in Nepalese currency or in US dollar. Medicine(s) offered by a bidder must be WHO pre-qualified.

5. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of National Tuberculosis Control Center, Thimi Bhaktapur by mailing to: procurementunitntcc@gmail.com or calling to telephone number +977-1-6630033 or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents should download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov. np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document in the following Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

7. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at National Tuberculosis Control Center, Thimi Bhaktapur at 11:00 am on 5th October, 2025

8. Electronic bids must be submitted through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 noon on 19th October, 2025. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

9. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 on 19th October, 2025 at the office of National Tuberculosis Control Center, Thimi Bhaktapur.

10. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days for IFB no 01,02,03&04 from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format amounting to mentioned above for each slice or equivalent in a US Dollar or Nepali currency which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.

11. If the last date of submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.

12. In the case of discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or any other document, the NTCC reserves the right to amend and correct the bid at any time.

13. NTCC reserves the right to cancel the bidding process at any time even without disclosing the reason.
