Nepal Red Cross Society Kalikot District Branch is inviting interested licensed suppliers to submit duly sealed bids subject to the following conditions, as the non-local construction materials required for the construction of a drinking water project in Ward No. 5, Tilagufa Municipality are to be procured and transported through sealed bids.

1. Within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, the authorized suppliers and hardware suppliers may obtain the bid form from this office and Nepal Red Cross Society Tilagufa Sub-Branch Office by submitting a copy of the renewed license, Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate, copy of the tax payment certificate for the fiscal year 2080/081 and the application, along with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000.-.

2. The sealed bid should be clearly filled in, signed by the supplier and hardware supplier, clearly written in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the firm, and submitted within office hours by the 15th day from the date of publication of the notice.

3. The sealed bid must be accompanied by a copy of the renewed license, Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate, and a bank voucher depositing 2.5% of the total amount including VAT agreed upon by the supplier in the current account number 4120100009631001 of the Nepal Red Cross Society's Rastriya Banijya Bank, Kalikot branch.

4. The sealed bids submitted will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives at this office on 16 Ashar, 2082. The bid opening will proceed even if the bidders or their representatives are not present at the time of bid opening.

5. If the sealed bid is accepted, a security deposit equal to 10% of the bid amount must be deposited in the mentioned account of this office or a bank guarantee with a validity of at least 90 (ninety) days must be submitted for the said amount.

6. No action will be taken against sealed bids that contain any conditions, are out of date, or have not been duly completed.

7. This society reserves the right to accept or reject sealed bids.

8. While submitting the rate, the rate should be inclusive of the cost of loading, unloading and transportation up to the place mentioned in the bid, and should be inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). The rate should be clearly mentioned in both figures and words. In case of difference in figures and words, the rate written in words will be accepted.

9. If the bid opening date falls on a public holiday, the bid will be opened on the next business day.

10. The entire responsibility for the materials mentioned in the bid form will remain with the supplier and suppliers until they are delivered to the Red Cross representative at the location mentioned in the bid.

11. The materials must be of the quality specified in the bid. Otherwise, this office will not be bound to accept the materials.

12. The matters mentioned in this notice shall be followed accordingly. Matters not mentioned shall be as per the procurement regulations of Nepal Red Cross Society.
