Notice of invitation to tender for sealed bids

This sealed bid has been invited

for the sale of program time and program sponsorship for the fiscal year 2082/083 on the public service broadcaster Nepal Television NTV News Channel.

1. Bid forms can be purchased from the Central Office of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Television, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, by paying the following fees within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice, during office hours. If the last day for purchasing bid forms falls on a public holiday, then it can be purchased during office hours on the first day the office is open.

Annually Rs. 20 lakhs with a minimum amount of Rs. 1000 per bid form.-(One thousand in words only)

Annually Rs. 20 lakhs and above and up to Rs. 20 million minimum amount specified, Rs. 3,000 per bid form. - (Three thousand in words only)

Annually Rs. 20 million up to 100 million with a minimum amount specified, Rs. 5,000 per bid form. - (Five thousand in characters only)

2. While submitting the proposal, the bidder shall submit a separate sealed bid proposal for each slot for program sponsorship and time sale. The name of the slot to be purchased and the bid number shall be clearly mentioned on the outside of each bid proposal envelope.

3. The sealed confidential proposal of the Rite of Sale shall be registered at the Business Division of the Central Office of the Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Television, Sihandarbar, Kathmandu, by 12:00 PM on the 16th day following the date of publication of the notice for the first time. The submitted bids will be opened at Nepal Television at 2:00 PM on the same day in the presence of the bidder's representative. Even if the bidder's representative is not present, it shall not be considered as an obstacle to opening the bids. If the last day for registering the sealed confidential proposal falls on a public holiday, the bid registration and opening of the bids will be done on the first day after the office is open within the specified time.

4. The bidder shall submit a bid security of 2.5% (two point five percent) of the total annual amount of the bid including VAT along with the proposal. The amount of the bid security shall be deposited in the Nepal Television Current Account No. 34401010000645 held at Global I. M. E Bank along with the sealed bid or a Bid Security issued by a Class A commercial bank with a validity of at least 120 days from the date of bid opening.

5. For the broadcast of the program by purchasing time, a portion of the program must be submitted sealed in a dummy envelope.
